Washington DC Spanish Steps Elopement

This queer DC elopement was a huge highlight of 2025 for me. Catherine and Sarah eloped on the Spanish Steps in DC right after sunrise. Following their Spanish Steps elopement and private vow reading, we walked around the Dupont neighborhood to take photos in the gorgeous fall sunrise light.

As a DC elopement photographer I cannot recommend enough having your ceremony and photos done around sunrise. The city is quiet and the light is gorgeous and you can make even popular spots your own.
